D-igital Y-esterday T-oday was an archival project devised by Emma Haugh in collaboration with several members of Dublin Youth Theatre. The project was exhibited as part of the Youth Theatre's 30th anniversary. at The Project Arts Centre.
The emphasis of the project was to engage with the rich history of the youth theatre while maintaining a vision of the youth theatres present and future.
As an ex member of the youth theatre Haugh brought her own history and memories to the project and was able to tap into the wealth of stories past and present.
Memories were collected by email through the youth theatres extensive database and these formed the core of the groups investigations. Archive material was used as a launchpad for new work and a narrative was formed through new audio , video and printed montage works.
