This video work was made as part of the installation 'Without A Trace destroying the archive which was installed in The Joinery gallery in December of 2009.
The video documents the destruction of original archive material from my own photographic archive including black and white prints, colour prints and negatives.
The work was made to further investigate our response to the photographic archive and our seeemingly innate instinct to 'keep' photographs in personal and public archives.
the destroyed archive material was installed along with orininal prints, newspaper clippings, text (interview quotes) and this video work.
